I've decided it's time to let go of some of the kit I don't use anymore, would love to see it go to a good home so I'm offering first pickings to folks on here.

I'll post as much detail as I can about each item plus how much I want for it. Feel free to ask any questions, I'm happy to meet up and let you have a look before you buy. Everything is sold as seen, no returns.

First up is a Nikon 50mm f1.8 'F mount' lens - £35

This is an older Nikon lens but it still works, though depending on your camera it may not be full featured. On my Nikon D40 it is fully manual, no metering, no auto-focus. On my D7000 it is still manual focus but the metering works so you can put the camera into Aperture Priority, select your aperture using the aperture ring on the lens and the camera will take care of the rest.

This has been well used over the years but works a treat, no image problems as far as I can tell, so it's a great way to try out whether a 50mm is right for you without shelling out aver £130 for a new one.

For some example images taken with this lens, take a look at this photos in this blog post, almost all of which were taken using this lens and my Nikon D40.

Tripod - Hahnel Triad 30 Lite - £20

Very lightweight and quite sturdy, especially if you use the bag-hook at the bottom. Comes with it's own bag although the strap needs fixing. The legs spread very wide and the central column can be reversed to take macro shots.

The leg clips are a little stiff but it still works without a problem.

Yongnuo YN465 Speedlight with Nikon TTL - £15
THIS IS NOW SOLD

Works well, has a bit of wear on the body but nothing that affects the performance. When used with a Nikon this will work with your camera's TTL (through the lens) metering system and set the intensity automatically, or you can set it yourself manually.

Comes with a diffuser, takes 4 AA batteries (not included).

Wide angle lens adapter - £15

Opteka wide-angle adapter, fits on the end of your lens and adds quite a bit of width to your angle. Make no mistake, this isn't going to replace your 10-20mm lens, but it gives you a fun effect and can produce decent images. For me this just helps you decide whether you want to upgrade to a proper wide-angle lens.

Have a look at the photos from this album, a lot of them were taken using a 35mm prime lens with this attached.

A great bag for carrying just the camera, this will fit most SLRs plus one standard lens attached. It's padded and can be used either over the shoulder or around the waist. This is in great condition.
